QUESTION 1 / 6

What will you mostly record?

How it works

What the finder does with your answers

The quiz asks six questions about how you actually work: what you mostly record, how many hours you capture in a month, how you feel about subscriptions, whether you need phone-call capture, how sensitive your recordings are, and whether you prefer a card or a wearable. Nothing is uploaded — the scoring runs in your browser.

Each answer is weighted against all 16 current devices, using the same verified subscription terms, call-capture support, and privacy trade-offs documented across this site. You get the three strongest matches, each with its free transcription allowance and estimated annual cost, plus a paid link to current Amazon options. No signup, no email.

If the quiz does not load in your browser, these are the six decision factors it scores:

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How does the finder decide my matches?
Your six answers are weighted against every device’s documented profile: what it is best at, its subscription terms, its free-minute allowance, how it handles phone calls, where its transcription happens (cloud, hybrid, or on-device), and its form factor. The three highest-scoring devices are shown with their free allowance and estimated annual cost. The scoring runs entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded, and no signup is required.
Are the prices and minutes in the table live?
No. Street prices are our editorial research, dated August 2026, and are not live Amazon prices — always verify the current price, seller, and availability on Amazon before checkout. Free-minute figures and plan tiers are the subscription terms verified in our review methodology, not a measure of your usage.
Why does the finder score 16 devices when the site says it tracks 17?
The finder only recommends devices you can actually buy. The discontinued Limitless Pendant (ended December 2025) stays in our editorial rankings as the category’s cautionary tale about cloud-dependent hardware, but it is excluded from every purchasing tool.
